International sales of Margarethe von Trotta’s Holocaust drama “Rosenstrasse” have been brisk since its local release last month.

Pic, which won Katja Riemann the actress award at the Venice film festival, has sold to Samuel Goldwyn for the U.S. and Canada, RAI Cinema for Italy, CVT for Mexico and Constantin for Austria.

Studio Canal is handling international sales for the film, about a group of German wives fighting for the release of their Jewish husbands from a Nazi detention center in Berlin.
