Costello to make cameo in drama

Christina Ricci and Giovanni Ribisi will star in “I Love Your Work,” a drama directed by thesp Adam Goldberg for his In Association With Prods. shingle and Muse Prods.

Franka Potente, Vince Vaughn, Joshua Jackson and Jason Lee will co-star in the film, written by Goldberg and Adrian Butchart. Elvis Costello will make a cameo.

Pic, about the gradual meltdown of a fictional movie star (Ribisi), marks Goldberg’s sophomore effort behind the camera; he previously helmed “Scotch and Milk.”

Chris Hanley and David Hillary are producing for Muse in association with Cyan Pictures; Adrienne Gruben serves as co-producer.

Ricci’s upcoming slate includes director Patty Jenkins’ “Monster” and Woody Allen’s “Anything Else.”

Ribisi’s sked includes Anthony Minghella’s “Cold Mountain” and John McTiernan’s “Basic.”

Goldberg, who will next be seen in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” toplines ContentFilm’s “The Hebrew Hammer,” which bowed Jan. 23 at Sundance. He also wrote, directed, exec produced and starred in “Running With the Bulls,” a one-hour spec for the Independent Film Channel.

Goldberg is repped by the Gersh Agency, manager Alan Somers and attorney Robert Offer. Muse is also repped by Gersh.
