Princely kickoff to ‘Rising’ shoot

Britain’s Prince Charles played clapper boy in Bollywood on Tuesday when he gave the opening clap for filming of “The Rising,” a story of an Indian soldier who revolts against British colonial rule in the 1850s.

Charles, on a nine-day visit to India, visited the set at a Mumbai hotel where Bollywood star Aamir Khan is playing the role of Mangal Pandey, the activist soldier, and British actor Toby Stephens plays his friend, Captain William Gordon.
