Rosenthal to oversee day-to-day production of features

Paramount Pictures has promoted veteran production exec Lee E. Rosenthal to VP, feature production management, for the motion picture group.

Rosenthal will report to Fred Gallo, president of feature production management worldwide. He will oversee day-to-day physical production of feature films, guiding them from the budgeting process and scheduling through the completion of principal photography.

“Lee is a tremendous asset to the feature production management team,” Gallo said. “We are happy to recognize his outstanding dedication and his hard work with this promotion.”

Rosenthal started at Paramount in 1994 as an assistant to Mark Bakshi, exec VP, feature production management. He was then promoted from assistant to associate production executive and then to production exec, laboring on such films as “The Fighting Temptations,” “The Perfect Score” and “Against the Ropes.” He is working on the upcoming Par releases “Paycheck” and “The Manchurian Candidate.”
