Lorie to o'see pic campaigns; Vasquez on int'l watch

HOLLYWOOD — New Line Cinema has promoted Tracy Lorie to senior VP international publicity and Trish Vasquez to director of international publicity.

In addition, Kristi Foreman has joined the staff as manager of international publicity.

Both Foreman and Vasquez are based in Los Angeles and report to Lorie.

Lorie will continue to orchestrate publicity campaigns, talent tours and film festival appearances for all New Line Intl. releases. She reports directly to Camela Galano, president of New Line Intl. Releasing.

Vasquez takes on increased responsibilities in media relations and production publicity while supervising publicity tours and junkets, working on film festivals and developing localized campaigns with international distributors.

Foreman joins the international publicity team from New Line’s international marketing department. She is responsible for coordinating publicity materials and travel and assisting with press tours and junkets.

The moves come after the best international year in New Line’s history. In 2002, New Line grossed $900 million outside the U.S., more than double the studio’s grosses for the previous year and placing it in the No. 5 position in 2002 international market share.
