Mojto draws Biasini to debut

Thesp's daughter to appear as 'Julie'

BERLIN — Jan Mojto’s EOS Entertainment is producing the first major project starring Sarah Biasini, daughter of late Austrian star Romy Schneider, one of Germany’s most adored celebs.

In 17th century cloak-and-dagger tale “Julie, Chevalier de Maupin,” Biasini plays a young woman trying to solve the mystery of her heritage while on the run from assassins. Pic is loosely based on the real-life La Maupin, a French swordswoman, adventurer and opera star whose sexually liberated attitude and wild exploits are legend.

“Sarah Biasini is a very gifted young woman,” said Mojto, adding that landing her is a huge coup for the E11 million ($12.8 million) European production, which will start shooting in December.
