‘Matrix’ set for Egyptian screens

Egyptian censors have overturned June’s ban and passed “The Matrix Reloaded” for screening.

However, sex scenes in the pic will be cut, according to Warners/Fox Egypt rep Antoine Zeind.

“We will position the film mid-December with only scenes involving sex censored,” said Zeind, who earlier told Daily Variety he had expected the film — like the first “Matrix” — to win the appeal.
