Sandrew Metronome managing director Bo Christensen will retire Thursday after five years heading the Danish arm of the pan-Scandinavian operation, controlled by Norway’s Schibsted and Sweden’s Sandrews.
A former chief of Nordisk Film Production, the Danish Film Institute and the European Script Fund, Christensen will be re-placed by Sandrew Metronome CEO, Morten Kongrød.
Danish financial manager Kim Vestergaard will be responsible for Danish activities, including film and video distribution as well as the company’s Copenhagen cinemas. Head of distribution Loke Havn will add production to his brief.
Releasing product from U.S. major Warner Bros, Sandrew Metronome runs Sweden’s second largest cinema circuit, with dis-tribution and exhibition companies in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
