Fogelson, Hampe join feature distribution company

HOLLYWOOD — Andrew Fogelson and Carl Hampe have joined feature distribution company MAC Releasing.

Fogelson, who has served as a consultant since MAC’s inception last year, joins partners Craig Baumgarten, Andy Gruenberg and Mike Marcus. Hampe serves as head of acquisitions.

MAC also announced its first 2003 releases, “Dirt” and “Washington Heights.” Both open in New York.

“Dirt,” which will bow April 25, is an offbeat comedy directed by Michael Covert and Tracy Fraim. Drama “Washington Heights,” written and directed by Alfredo de Villa, will open May 9.
