HOLLYWOOD — Andrew Fogelson and Carl Hampe have joined feature distribution company MAC Releasing.
Fogelson, who has served as a consultant since MAC’s inception last year, joins partners Craig Baumgarten, Andy Gruenberg and Mike Marcus. Hampe serves as head of acquisitions.
MAC also announced its first 2003 releases, “Dirt” and “Washington Heights.” Both open in New York.
“Dirt,” which will bow April 25, is an offbeat comedy directed by Michael Covert and Tracy Fraim. Drama “Washington Heights,” written and directed by Alfredo de Villa, will open May 9.
Fogelson was most recently president of Polygram Filmed Entertainment. He also owns and operates production and marketing consultancy AFA Co.
Hampe comes to MAC from Miramax’s acquisitions department, where he was responsible for covering projects from North America, Asia and Australia.
