M&M producer becomes GM of Nordisk

Danish producer Kim Magnusson, of M&M Productions, becomes general manager of Nordisk Film’s feature and drama production in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden Thursday. Credited with more than 50 titles, Magnusson is chairman of the Danish Producers’ Assn. and the Danish Film Academy.

He won Oscars for the shorts “Election Night” in 1999 and “This Charming Man” this year.

His father, Tivi Magnusson, will continue as head of M&M Productions, which they co-founded in 1995.

A division of the Egmont Group and a Scandinavian market leader, Nordisk Film runs production companies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
