Diane Lane, Oscar-nominated for her role in “Unfaithful,” may star opposite Bruce Willis in Intermedia’s “Me Again,” which will be directed by Dean Parisot.
Talks are ongoing, but she would star opposite Willis, who will portray a man who wakes up in a hotel without a memory but with a dead body in his room. He must figure out if he’s a hit man or the undercover cop assigned to take down the assassin.
Drama is a co-production between Willis’ Cheyenne Enterprises and Hartswood Films. Arnold Rifkin, Beryl Vertue and David Willis produce.
Intermedia’s worldwide production head Basil Iwanyk and VP Tobin Armbrust oversee the film.
Script was written by Steven Moffat and revised by Mark Bomback. It’s currently being rewritten by David Scinto and Louis Mellis, who wrote “Sexy Beast.”
Lane was named female star of the year for ShoWest 2003. She most recently wrapped “Under the Tuscan Sun” for Miramax Films.
