Danish prod’n rules set

World Brief

Danish pubcasters DR-TV and TV2 Danmark have reached an agreement with the Assn. of Danish Film Producers on how to spend the $8.6 million each station must allocate annually for domestic film production.

Tuesday’s deal comprises rules for the eight to 10 features in which each broadcaster must participate by law. The stations’ average stake is around 20% of production costs.

“Now we know where we stand instead of negotiating each film individually,” said producers’ body chairman Kim Magnusson, of M&M Prods.
