World Brief

Shooting begins this coming Monday on helmer Sergio Castellitto’s “Non ti muovere” (Don’t Move), starring Penelope Cruz, who is learning Italian for the role.

In Rome on Monday, Cruz spoke a self-assured Italian and said that she has been studying the language five hours a day for three months.

Pic, based on the novel of the same name by Castellitto’s wife Margaret Mazzantini, is a co-production of Rome-based Cattleya, Medusa Film and Spain’s Alquimia Cinema.
