HOLLYWOOD — Pariah has sold Victor Fresco’s comedy spec “My Bad Self” to Columbia Pictures.
“Self” is the story of a mild-mannered young man confronted by an alter ego who seems to personify all of the urges that he’s afraid to experience.
Pariah principal Gavin Polone will produce. Project will be overseen by Col VP Rachel O’Connor; co-prexy Matt Tolmach will oversee its development with Pariah exec Jessika Borsiczky, who also will produce in some capacity for Pariah.
Project was brought into Pariah by creative exec Jonathan Frank.
Fresco, repped by BWCS, is a television veteran whose credits include exec producing sitcom “Andy Richter Controls the Universe.”
Pariah is in production on Col’s “Secret Window,” starring Johnny Depp, and is developing thriller “Tick Tock” with the studio.
