Duchovny starrer finds a domestic distribber

Artisan Entertainment has acquired North American rights on “My Dark Places” from Myriad Pictures.

Pic, an adaptation of hardboiled crime writer James Ellroy’s memoir, stars David Duchovny in a script from Jan Oxenberg. Robert Greenwald directs and produces.

“My Dark Places” is the story of a writer who reopens the unsolved case of his mother’s murder and delves into the underworld of 1950s Los Angeles.

Michael McDonnell will produce with Greenwald. Myriad principal Kirk D’Amico serves as executive producer with Lucas Foster.
