Michelle Rodriguez, who stars in the upcoming “S.W.A.T.,” has signed on for her next pic opposite star Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe in “Control.”
In the pic written by Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer, Rodriguez will portray the love interest of a sociopath on death row. The killer is given a chance to live if he agrees to take part in a chemical behavioral modification program.
Directed by Tim Hunter, production begins Aug. 10.
Randall Emmett and George Furla produce “Control,” with Millennium Films handling foreign sales.
Emmett and Furla are exec producing “Love Song for Bobby Long,” starring John Travolta, which is financed through Bob Yari’s El Camino Pictures.
