Irish director Damien O’Donnell (“East Is East,” “Heartlands”) has boarded his first project since “Edgardo Mortara” fell apart in pre-production last year.
He’s attached to “Inside I’m Dancing” for producer James Flynn of Dublin-based Octagon Films. This would be O’Donnell’s first Irish movie.
The $6 million pic is scripted by Jeffrey Caine (“The Constant Gardener”). It’s a buddy movie with a difference, about two boys with cerebral palsy.
Flynn is putting together the project to shoot later this year, with a patchwork of Irish and British public funding, and international distrib coin.
