‘Lily’ wins grand prize at Warsaw

“With Love, Lily,” Russian helmer Larisa Sadilova’s take on life in provincial Russia, won the Grand Prix Nescafe at the 19th Warsaw Intl. Film Festival, which ended Monday. “Since Otar Left,” by Julie Bertuccelli, and “Conspiracy of Silence,” by John Deery, both received special mentions from the jury.

Audience prize went to Norwegian film “Buddy” by Morten Tyldum.

Fest sold 70,000 tickets to 80 films.
