Haenel new veep for 20th Century

Exec held post at HCS for ten years

Hal Haenel has been named vice president, production services, at 20th Century Fox, it was announced today by J.R. DeLang, executive vice president, studio and post production operations.

Haenel joins Fox from Hollywood Center Studios, where he served as Vice President and General Manager for the past ten years. While at HCS, he supervised all operations and facilities including capital improvements, expansion, and technical facilities design.

At Fox, Haenel will manage studio backlot and related production support departments, including stages, exterior locations and logistics. Production support departments reporting to Haenel include: Production facilities, the art department, set lighting, the mill, grip, and wardrobe, among others.

Currently shooting at the facility are skeins “NYPD Blue,” “Reba,” “Luis,” “Judging Amy,” “Oliver Beene,” “Cracking Up,” and Regency feature film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
