Ex-‘Superman’ helmer’s plate ‘Full’

Ratner tapped to tell story of Washington insider

A month after Brett Ratner walked away from Warner Bros. Pictures and “Superman,” he’s found his next project at New Line Cinema with Todd Robinson’s “The Last Full Measure.” Pic is expected to go into production this year.

New Line acquired Robinson’s spec late last year in an exclusive negotiation. Based on a true story, “Measure” is the story of a Washington insider who risks his future to ensure that a fallen airman receives the Medal of Honor. Sidney Sherman produces the pic.

Project is overseen by New Line execs Toby Emmerich, Cale Boyter and Matt Moore.

Robinson, who wrote “White Squall,” is also negotiating to write and exec produce an untitled midseason CBS pilot for Sydney Pollack.

Sherman (“Amargosa”) produced the IFC Films-released documentary “Go Tigers!” which Robinson executive produced.
