Exec trivia: Aviv co-wrote and exec-produced “Rocket Man” for Disney in 1995.

The Basics: Joined Disney in 1991 after three years as a special projects director for Cap Cities/ABC. He rose quickly through the marketing ranks to, first, VP of creative services, then senior VP marketing and creative advertising. He became co-prexy of BV marketing in 1999, and a year later, became division boss.

Rep: Aviv has a strong marketing track record at Disney, as his orchestrations of the high-profile “Pirates” and “Finding Nemo” campaigns illustrate.

Company line: “This past year was particularly gratifying for the marketing department. By plotting out our brand strategy together with Dick (Cook) and Nina (Jacobson), we were able to grow the Disney Entertainment brand in the face of fierce competition and increased audience fragmentation. While marketing unprecedented hits like ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,’ we did not overlook our non-Disney branded entertainment, like ‘Sweet Home Alabama,’ ‘Bringing Down the House’ and ‘Signs.’ “
