Revelers plow through snow to ‘Fog’

DreamWorks pic party conquers frosty reception

Friday’s unspooling of “House of Sand and Fog” coincided with Gotham’s first snowfall, but stalwart guests hungry for “Jen and Ben” were undeterred.

Stars Jennifer Connelly, Ben Kingsley, Ron Eldard, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Jonathan Ahdout braved the blizzard for the DreamWorks pic.

Frosh helmer Vadim Perelman, a blurb veteran, said he was very careful not to let style overtake the story.

“In a sense I tied myself to the mast,” he said. “The material would show off for me.”

Festivities were held pre-screening at the Maritime Hotel. On hand: producer Michael London and co-producer Shawn Otto, “Sand” author Andre Dubus and pic composer James Horner; and guests Paul Bettany, Holly Hunter, Jeff Sharp, John Hart, Bruce Cohen, Dan Jinks and Tom McCarthy.
