Vivendi Universal Games will distribute the sequel to “Law & Order: Dead on the Money,” a vidgame developed and published by Legacy Interactive based on the hugely popular crime-and-punishment franchise on TV. Legacy also sold overseas publishing rights to both the original and sequel to DreamCatcher Interactive.

The original vidgame was penned by a freelancer who had written for the TV show, and featured the voices of TV stars Jerry Orbach, S. Epatha Merkerson and Elisabeth Rohm. The sequel is due later this year.

DreamCatcher will begin distributing the first “Law & Order” title overseas this spring under its Adventure Company label, localizing the game in French, German, Spanish and Italian languages.
