Bob Fiorella has been tapped senior VP of finance for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Exec, most recently a veep at Universal Studios Home Video, will oversee financial planning and analysis for the home entertainment division. He’ll also be part of strategic planning and key business negotiations for the unit, which markets, sells and distributes Fox’s film and TV product on video and DVD.
Fiorella’s “experience in strategic planning and business development, as well as his perceptive and hands-on assessment of the changing retail and financial landscape of the home entertainment businesses, will be a remarkable benefit to us and our key business partners,” said Steve Bersch, chief operating officer of FHE.
Fiorella reports to Fox Filmed Entertainment exec VP and chief financial officer Dean Hallett, who announced the hiring Monday.
Before his stint at U’s homevideo unit, Fiorella was director of strategic planning at Universal Pictures and a director of planning and finance for Disney.
