Zinc Entertainment, a division of Joel Silver’s Silver Pictures, will produce “Dungeons & Dragons: The Sequel” for an early 2004 release.
Zinc will produce the pic with Marching Band Prods. and Sweetpea Entertainment. Overseas Filmgroup will handle licensing worldwide, excluding U.S. video rights and certain territories handled by Warner Home Video.
“Dungeons & Dragons” was released in December 2000 by New Line Cinema. Silver and Sweetpea produced the pic.
Formed last year by Anatoly Fradis and Joseph Cohen, Marching Band was the principal financier of Intermedia Films’ “Masked and Anonymous.” Marching Band is capitalized by European corporate investors.
