WB skeds new Streisand DVDs

Commentary, widescreen versions on Babs release

Warner Bros. is releasing four Barbra Streisand titles on DVD for the first time.

On July 1, “Up the Sandbox,” “What’s Up, Doc?,” “The Main Event” and “Nuts” will be available separately and in a four-disc “Barbra Streisand Collection,” featuring new digital widescreen transfers.

Streisand will provide her first DVD comments, having recorded full-length audio commentaries for “Nuts” and “Sandbox” and scene-specific commentary on “Doc?” and “Event.”

Also, DreamWorks has enticed Will Ferrel, Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn and director Todd Philips to produce a special comedy featurette for the upcoming DVD of “Old School.”

Pic will be released June 10; the studio also is releasing an unrated edition featuring scenes cut from the movie as well as bloopers.

Studio will release “Biker Boyz” on the same date.
