HOLLYWOOD — Matthew Glotzer has been tapped VP of video-on-demand and business development at 20th Century Fox Television Distribution. He’ll report to Jamie McCabe, senior VP, worldwide pay-per-view and VOD, and will be based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.
Glotzer has been with the company since 1999, most recently as VP, business development, 20th Century Fox. Before that he was director of finance at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
In his new position, Glotzer will play a crucial role in formulating strategy and executing the company’s activities in the increasingly important worldwide video-on-demand markets.
Glotzer will continue as a Fox representative to Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI), the seven-studio venture working to develop a technology specification for digital distribution to theaters.
Before joining Fox, Glotzer held positions in strategy with EMI Music and investment banking with Lehman Bros.
