Exec replaces Dixon, once covered showbiz stocks

Investment bank UBS Warburg said Tuesday it has hired Tim Wallace as senior entertainment and broadcasting analyst. He replaces Chris Dixon, who left the firm several months ago.

Wallace, based in New York, most recently was a media and entertainment analyst for Banc of America. Before that, he covered showbiz stocks for Lehman Bros. and SG Warburg.

In 2002, he was a runner-up for radio and TV broadcasting in Institutional Investor’s All-America Research team. He holds a BA from New York University’s Institute of Film & Television and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
