Rosie O’Donnell is expected in court this fall.
On Wednesday, a New York judge declined to dismiss most of the allegations in the warring suits between the outspoken former talkshow host and Bertelsmann-owned publisher Gruner & Jahr, which last October shuttered O’Donnell’s magazine after a nasty dispute.
Both parties were told to return to court Sept. 30, with a trial expected in the fall.
O’Donnell sued G&J for $125 million, accusing the company of breach of contract for taking away her editorial control and for disclosing confidential information to the mag’s staff. She also says the publisher bashed her in the press.
In response, G&J sued for $100 million for breach of contract.
Neither party would comment.
