Bully for ‘Bonnie’

To the Editor:

Thank you for the article about “Bonnie and Clyde” (“Truth Takes Bullet,” Daily Variety, July 7).

In these times of instantaneous reporting and tomorrow’s news, it is refreshing — and important — to remember yesterday’s stories. I put aside reading all the other articles in order to devour Steven Gaydos’ eye-opening piece.

If I could make one small wish, it would be to see more articles in this vein and of this caliber.

In fact, I was so inspired by this story, I have just finished re-watching the movie on DVD. Thank you, Variety. To paraphrase Clyde Barrow, “You ain’t good … you’re the best.”
