COLOGNE — German pubcaster ZDF and Danish pubcaster TV2 have reached an agreement on sharing news footage.
ZDF’s Markus Schaechter and TV2’s Cristina Lage signed the agreement Wednesday in ZDF’s headquarters in Mainz.
TV2 is Denmark’s market leader with an audience share of 36%; ZDF ranks at No. 3 in Germany with a share of around 13%. ZDF holds around 30 similar cooperation agreements with webs in and outside Europe, including Qatar’s Al-Jazeera.
