Former GE chairman Jack Welch is joining CNBC’s “Squawk Box” as a special contributor. He’ll guest host once a quarter, in addition to contributing to “Business Center.”
Welch will begin his regular appearances the same week that CNBC debuts its new Business Day sked and “Squawk Box” shifts to an 8 a.m. start. “Jack is a visionary leader, and our viewers simply love to hear what he has to say,” said CNBC prexy and CEO Pamela Thomas-Graham. “These regular appearances will provide our viewers with the opportunity to hear his straightforward views of industry trends on a regular basis.”Welch in CNBC’s ‘Box’
