Denmark poll: News knocked

World Brief

As a journalists strike at the Danish Broadcasting Corp. entered its third week Monday, a new opinion poll has shown that two out of three Danes don’t miss the news broadcasts that have been pulled from DR-TV and the pubcaster’s three radio channels.

The 900 journos are protesting the management’s decision to abandon automatic increment regulation of wages in favor of a basic fee with individual bonuses.
