Castle Rock, comic team up

Comedy to focus on struggling college grads

Castle Rock Television has pacted with standup comedian Matt Fulchiron to develop a half-hour television series based on his comedy and starring him.

Fulchiron’s routine focuses on the plight of the overeducated who are underemployed. Show will revolve around the struggle college grads face today.

“I was drawn to Matt’s comedic attitude because it comes from reality,” said Castle Rock Television president Glenn Padnick.

“In today’s market, a college degree is about as useful as a felony conviction,” says Fulchiron, who is repped by Power Entertainment.

Power Entertainment’s David E. Goldman and Judi Brown will produce the project in conjunction with Castle Rock.

Castle Rock Entertainment is an AOL Time Warner company.
