Mary J. Benoit Lutz, a former bit player who appeared in numerous films and TV shows from the 1940s through the mid-1960s, died Saturday of natural causes at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. She was 91.

During the ’40s she had roles in numerous films including “Kitty Foyle,” “Meet John Doe,” “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and “One Touch of Venus.” She also appeared on several TV series including “Leave It to Beaver,” “Mr. Lucky” and “Perry Mason.”

She later became a real estate broker.

She is survived by a niece and nephew.
