Jeffrey Benjamin, longtime production exec, died March 18 at his home in Los Angeles following a lengthy illness. He was 53.

The son of legendary agent Ben Benjamin, he served as an executive at Ray Stark’s company for many years. He was associate producer for 1981’s “The King of the Mountain” and “The Toy” (1982).

He is survived by wife Lyn, two children, his mother and a sister.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, P.O. Box 1010, Torrance, CA 90505.
