HBO's 'Live from Baghdad'

Helena Bonham Carter will join Michael Keaton in HBO Films’ “Live From Baghdad,” and Mick Jackson (“Tuesdays With Morrie”) has signed on to direct.

Telepic, adapted from CNN producer Robert Wiener’s memoir of the same name and to be produced by Industry Entertainment, will offer a minute-by-minute account of a group of CNN reporters broadcasting live from behind enemy lines during the Gulf War. Rosalie Swedlin and Sara Colleton are executive producing. George W. Perkins will also produce. John Patrick Shanley (“Moonstruck”) wrote the script with Wiener and Thomas D. Herman. HBO veep Jonathan Krauss will oversee production for the cabler. Lensing begins in May in L.A. and Morocco.
