Widow of Paul C. Donnelly
Eileen Donnelly, widow of Paul C. Donnelly, a former vice president of Universal Studios, died Friday at her home in Encino due to respiratory illness. She was 85.
Donnelly grew up in the motion picture industry, where her father, Pat O’Malley, was an “Edison player” in Thomas Edison’s silent film company in 1906. Her mother performed in vaudeville and her grandfather was a legit actor in Boston.
She is survived by two daughters, two sons and nine grandchildren.
A rosary planned for Thursday at 7:30 p.m and a funeral mass Friday at 11 a.m. will both be held at St. Cyril’s Church, 15520 Ventura Blvd. , Encino.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name be made to the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
