Avra Fliegelman, a longtime executive and publisher for the Broadcast Information Bureau, died suddenly on May 6 in West Palm Beach. She was 77.

From the 1960s through the 1990s, she was a fixture at industry conventions and markets such as NATPE, PROMAX and Mip.

A lifelong New Yorker, she moved to Florida in 2000.

She is survived by a nephew and grandnephew.
