Alex Kingston, Shiri Appleby, Chaney Kley

Alex Kingston (“ER”) will play the title role in feature “Boudica,” about the long-ago British queen who led a bloody rebellion against the Roman occupation. Pic, which starts shooting this week, is being produced by Gub Neal’s Box Films. Director is Bill Anderson, who made the Channel 4 series “Sword of Honor.” The ITV web has U.K. TV rights, and Moonlight Films has pre-bought all rights in Germany, Benelux and Switzerland. Shiri Appleby (“Roswell,” “Swimfan”) and Chaney Kley, who toplines Revolution’s forthcoming thriller “Darkness Falls,” originally dubbed “Tooth Fairy,” have paired up to lense the feature “The Skin Horse.” Project, penned by Karen Goodman, is lensing in Portland, Ore. Tyrus Coursey will produce and co-direct with Goodman. Diana Vest Goodman is the executive producer.
