HOLLYWOOD — Hallmark Channel parent Crown Media Holdings has appointed Mindy Tucker, formerly corporate VP of strategic planning at exhib Loews Cineplex, as veep of corporate development — a newly created post.
Tucker will focus on strategic planning and special corporate projects at the New York-based company. She also will handle investor relations, reporting to exec VP-chief financial officer Bill Aliber. Company previous outsourced its investor-relations management.
Tucker’s “rich background and expertise will make her an integral part of our day-to-day operations, as well as our long-term strategic planning efforts for the future,” Aliber said.
The Hallmark Channel, one of a number of cable channels owned and operated by Crown Media, is carried on various U.S. systems as well as in 110 international markets.
