Media relations exec Andi Sporkin ankled her post at Columbia TriStar Domestic TV late last week, after agreeing mutually with the company to part ways.
Sporkin had been with Sony’s TV operation for about 18 months.
She joined Sony in January 2001 as senior vice president of communications and talent relations for Columbia TriStar Television Distribution. Division since has been merged with Columbia’s network production division to form one domestic TV operation at Sony, headed by former CTTD topper Steve Mosko.
Sporkin, a TV PR vet, segued to Sony after five years at CBS. Sporkin joined the Eye in 1996, when she helped launch former syndie arm Eyemark and helped reshape CBS Broadcast International. When CBS Television and King World Prods. hooked up, she assumed the King World duties.
