Peacock welcomes Letscher to ‘Miami’

Credits include 'Zorro,' 'Beach Boys,' 'Providence'

Thesp Matt Letscher has joined the cast of NBC’s upcoming Thursday-night laffer “Welcome to Miami.”

Letscher will play arrogant morning show host Gavin Stone. He replaces Burke Moses, who is no longer with the show. Portions of the “Good Morning Miami” pilot will be re-shot to reflect the change.

Letscher will be seen in the upcoming features “Gods and Generals,” “Supersucker” and “I.D.” His credits include “The Mask of Zorro” and “Madison.”

On TV, he starred in the laffers “Living in Captivity” and “Almost Perfect.” The actor also appeared in the telepics “King of Texas,” “When Billie Beat Bobby,” “The Beach Boys: An American Family” and “Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Kennedy Women.”

He also appeared in a recent story arc on the NBC drama “Providence.”

“Good Morning Miami,” from Warner Bros. TV, revolves around the inner workings of a last-place local morning show. David Kohan and Max Mutchnick created and exec produce the skein.

Letscher is repped by Meridian Artists Agency and SLJ Management.
