Partners develop Thruline

Alba, Janney, Graham already among clients

The new management firm formed by Ron West, Chris Henze and J.B. Roberts has settled on a name: Thruline Entertainment.

Thruline has already put together a roster of clients including Jessica Alba (“Dark Angel”), Allison Janney (“The West Wing”), Lauren Graham (“Gilmore Girls”), Ron Livingston (“Office Space”), Daniel Stern and Lou Diamond Phillips. Firm also reps writer-producers Steve Franks (“Big Daddy”) and Kirk Ellis (“Anne Frank”).

“We have complimentary skills and share common philosophies, so our merging has been a natural progression of our individual businesses,” Roberts said.

West, Henze and Roberts formed Thruline late last month after West departed ICM as head of TV talent. Henze was president of management firm Pure Arts, while Roberts co-owned and operated Rigberg-Roberts-Rugolo.

“Chris and J.B. have a long track record of supplying material as well as talent to the film and TV communities, and packaging was always my favorite aspect of being an agent,” West said.
