Hallmark Channel has named Scott Anderson VP of acquisitions for the cable channel.
He will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and negotiating the acquisition of programming for the network.
The exec has been part of the Crown Media Holdings organization, which owns Hallmark Channel, since 1998.
Most recently he was president and chief executive officer for Anderson Media Group, which he founded. In that role, he negotiated programming acquisitions for Crown Media. He also spearheaded efforts for Cinema Entertainment Group.
Previously, Anderson served as director programming and acquisitions for Hallmark Channel’s precursor, Odyssey Network.
