ESPN revs up ‘RPM’

World Brief

ESPN Latin America on Thursday launched “RPM Semanal,” a weekly 30-minute program dedicated to motor sports. It will air every Thursday in primetime throughout the motor-sports season.

Viewers can also log on to the Monday after each race weekend and vote for driver of the week. The re-sults will be announced during that week’s TV show.

ESPN said show will complement its existing motor-sports programming, which includes coverage of the Indy Racing League and Indianapolis 500, MotoGP, World Rally Championships, the Dakar Rally and the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks Series.
