German kidvidder EM.TV has confirmed plans to acquire Kirch-owned sports channel DSF.

Company is partnering with German retail group Karstadt/Quelle and Swiss entrepreneur Hans-Dieter Cleven to make a concrete offer for the money-losing web, which does not belong to main Kirch TV division ProSiebenSat 1.

Creditors of insolvent Kirch Media are selling company’s majority stake in ProSiebenSat 1 as well as its vast film library to Hamburg-based publisher Heinrich Bauer.
