Court TV gets interactive

Show bows Sept. 4 with poisoning case

Interactive skein “I, Detective” has been slated as part of Court TV’s fall lineup.

During the show, intended to combine elements of docu, murder mystery and quizzer, viewers will answer a series of multiple-choice questions allowing them to work with the same clues, evidence and witness statements that actual investigators used to solve the crime.

Premiere episode will focus on Sue Snow, a woman who died after imbibing an over-the-counter pain reliever. An autopsy revealed she was poisoned.

Homicide detective Michael Dunbar and criminal profiler Pat Brown recount the details of the investigation and theories considered in cracking the case.

“I, Detective,” produced by Michael Hoff Prods., will preem Sept. 4 at 9:30 p.m.
