Miller, Ashton and Gough join up
HOLLYWOOD — CAA is adding a trio of agents to its television department.
Andrew Miller has joined the percentery as a TV lit agent from UTA, where he most recently was an assistant. In addition, Roy Ashton and Christopher Gough, who have both been at CAA for nearly five years, have been upped to TV agents.
“Roy, Chris and Andrew have the passion, the intelligence and the taste that will make them great agents,” said CAA partner and head of television Lee Gabler. “We look forward to their ongoing contributions to our clients and to our business.”
Ashton, a founding board member and current prexy of the Junior Hollywood Radio & TV Society, had been TV department coordinator at CAA. He previously served as an assistant to vet CAA agents Adam Berkowitz and Jeff Jacobs and joined the agency as a mailroom staffer.
Before his promotion, Gough — also a founding board member of JHRTS — was coordinating liaison between CAA’s TV department and its marketing group. He had previously worked on the desk of CAA exec Dan Adler, having joined the agency from CBS, where he worked as a production assistant.
Miller comes to CAA from UTA, where he had been an assistant since 2000. Move reunites Miller with CAA TV agent Chris Harbert: Miller had been Harbert’s assistant when Harbert was at UTA.
