ABC takes script to Hart

Show would be a reverse 'Fresh Prince'

ABC has picked up a script with holding penalty to develop a series with comic Kevin Hart.

Project, which comes from Imagine TV, will feature Hart as a man with a wealthy background who’s forced to move in with lower-class relations.

Hart, who would co-exec produce, describes the comedy project as ” ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ in reverse.”

David Zuckerman (“Family Guy”), whose credits include “Fresh Prince,” will exec produce. BWCS-repped Zuckerman also has a script set up at 20th Century Fox TV.

Zuckerman’s other credits include “King of the Hill” and the Fox pilot “Kiss of the Dragon.”

Hart, who’s repped by UTA, 3 Arts and Ira Schreck, was most recently seen last season on Fox’s Judd Apatow comedy “Undeclared,” and also starred in the Paramount pilot “Class of ’06” at NBC.
